This was done in an hour's time....
and just an hour,
because this piece was done as "swag" to get a friend some swag of his own.............

these are good to do every so often....
they teach an artist what they know & have learned,
and yet...
take them out of a comfort zone.
You can clearly see how I lay the ink down, how sparse the
pencils were.....
I like it because of how brutal the drawing was..how brutal the inks flowed.
here a link to another take on Starman & the JSA... [link]
I really liked the Jack Knight character, though I lost interest in the series about halfway through...rather, James ROBINson lost interest about halfway through, thus disheartening ME on the book.
What was the swag you got in return, if you can publicly say?
Oh thank you ^^, you do comics then? Looking through your gallery that should be obvious, no? Pless it says it in your sig....ah sorry.
Haha i'm going to try and do comics soon enough...ack I don't think ill be as talented as somone like you.
Hmm comic paper does seem really nice, i think some site may have been selling for 100 bucks for a pack of 20 sheets or something. That's a bit pricey for me though.--Thanks so much for the reply ^^, good luck with your pictures.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

that BlueLine Pro paper tends to be a little too slick & wax coated.
You'd be better off picking up standard 2-ply Bristol and putting your own lines on it.
