back in the late 90's ..
fellow artist, Buzz & I were doing a ton of comicbook shows and turning out these sorts of Pinups for sale at shows..
now BUZZ still does a ton of shows...
but I do alot less shows and a few less Pinups.
One night before a 3- day show we sat down and did an art JAM...
and turned out 15...maybe 17 of these in ONE NIGHT !!!
Nothing like artists getting together and trying to out do one another !!!.....

(there's also a side tale of how and why an undercover- Top Cow inker came over to our table at the show and bought copies of all our Pinups.....
we think it was to steal our "chops"...but who "really" knows..??)

Gumpy Old Men & Our Man Flint were on the TV..
and we were just drawing & inking and passing pieces of paper back and forth..
and by the end of the night there was a stack of finished Pinups..
